Autocares Repic

COMPANY

Autocares Repic is a family firm that was set up in 1952 by Juan Arbona and Francisca Colom who, at the age of 25 and just married, decided to change careers and swap their work in agriculture and instead provide transport to the initial tourists who visited the island of Majorca - in particular the town of Sóller.

During the company's early days, they offered a taxi service (using a Nash motor car). In their second year, they bought a second vehicle (a Chrysler) and steadily built up a fleet of taxis (Buick, Plymouth, Mercury).

In 1956 they took an important step forward by purchasing their first 16-seater coach: a lorry that had been used in the Spanish Civil War and had been adapted in Vic (Barcelona)

Over the years, the company has continued to grow and now has a fleet of coaches that has enabled it to expand its services. Today, the family's third generation manages the company and its fleet which is made up of the most modern, comfortable and safest vehicles.
